algoMilk is the result of more than 10 years monitoring daily individual performance ( >2.8 million data points), along with nutrient supply and individual intakes ( > 200,000 data points) that has be used to construct and validate unique artificial intelligent algorithms that have been cross-validated.

DRY MATTER INTAKE

algoMilk is a unique model that predicts with very high reliability the dry matter intake (DMI) of each cow throughout her lactation. Predicting intake with high reliability at the individual level is a disruptive change in dairy production. Until now, the sector has only worked individually with the milk curve (income per cow), with algoMIlk and its individual intake curve (consumption per cow), producers can now know individual feed efficiency, environmental impact, and most important, the individual gross margin or income over feed cost for every cow, every day.

Using deep learning techniques, algoMilk predicts and models individual milk yield responses to weather, nutrient supply, stocking density, etc…Individual prediction of milk production allows to make decisions pertaining to pen changes, breeding, and also determining the cost of health afflictions.

DRY MATTER INTAKE

One of the newest features of algoMILK is the prediction of dry matter intake (DMI) at an individual level. Having individual DMI allows estimatation of individual feed efficiency as well as income over feed cost or gross margin from each cow. Thus, this feature, faciliates decisions regarding fate of cows and breading policies.
