a new nutritional model
algoMilk works by integrating basic data from ingredients (nutrients and prices) and the milk performance and milk price. The system connects to your nearest meteorological station and feeds and the algorithms integrate weather data with all the other exogenous variables of your farm: management, facilities, pens, stocking density, forage quality, etc. The more data are available to algoMilk (genome, microbiome, individual body weight, pathology…), the better the predictions and reliability of outcomes.
Underneath algoMilk there is a new nutritional model. It is a model that optimizes rations, ’virtually’ accounting for local exogenous variables: micro-nutrients, ingredient quality, palatability, herd management, facilities, weather etc…and the local milk and feed markets and prices.
